None of us want to worry about our information getting into the wrong hands with all the crazies out there. Some of us aren't out to all of our friends and co-workers, despite coming on Out and Active trips. But rest assured - At Out and Active, we value your privacy and take it very seriously.
Out and Active will never sell, rent, or loan your personal information. If you'd like to stop receiving communications, just let us know and we will remove you at your first request. We will not e-mail more than twice per month to make announcements or give you relevant offers and deals. If anything changes to our privacy policy, we will post all changes on our policy statement and communicate them in our newsletter so you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and if, under any circumstances, we disclose it.
Tell-A-Friend. If you choose to get the word out about Out and Active through e-mail, we will ask you for your friend's name and email address. We will send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. Out and Active stores this information for the purpose of sending this initial email, and tracking the success of our referral program. We collect two types of information about Out and Active users: Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information.
Personally Identifiable Information. Personally Identifiable Information is information that identifies a specific End User. You may choose to engage in certain optional activities on the Out and Active website, such as creating an account, ordering a product or service from us or our partners, submitting content and/or posting content in discussion forums, filling out a survey, posting a review, sending us or our partners feedback, requesting information about our services, or signing up for special offers from third parties through the Website (collectively, "Identification Activities"). We specifically disclaim any responsibility or liability for the actions of such Out and Active Partners. While we inform them that they are only permitted to communicate with you for the purposes of the specific promotion, trip or service with Out and Active, we do not have any responsibility for the actions of the Out and Active Partners, and the actions of the Out and Active Partner are not in our control.
We may share your information with Authorized Third Party Service Providers. We provide services and products through third parties. These "Third Party Service Providers" perform functions on our behalf. We may share your Personally Identifiable Information with such Service Providers to reserve your requested trip, remove repetitive information on customer lists, analyze data, process credit card payments, operate the website, troubleshoot, and provide customer service. We may also collect personal information from individuals and companies with whom we have business relationships and may share your information with Service Providers to accomplish our administrative tasks. For example, when you order a product or service, we release your credit card information to the card-issuing bank to confirm payment for the service and, if applicable, release your address to the delivery company to deliver the product/service.
